Jul 13, 2006 (New Zealand Hardware Journal - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Three Auckland publishing houses have stated their intention to merge in July 2006. Marketplace Press, Profile Publishing and Review Publishing, which all produce business to business magazines, will join forces to become New Zealand's biggest publisher of trade magazines, with titles including "Wares New Zealand" and "AdMedia". Senior executives from each of the former magazines will manage the new press as a triumvirate for the first year. The merger is not expected to affect staffing levels, and is aimed at expanding the joint business using the internet and other new technologies.
